The landmark is on the National Register of Historic Places. Along with a museum, the lighthouse now allows public tours. The Town of Jupiter also serves as the spring training grounds for the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals, along with serving as the home of two minor league baseball teams. Other notable attractions include the Palm Beach International Raceway, located just west of the Town of Jupiter. The racetrack hosts a number of motorsports throughout the year. The community is also the home of the Florida History Center and Museum. In addition, Jupiter features miles of incredible Florida beaches. Many area parks include access ramps to the Intracoastal, as well as contain various outdoor recreational opportunities for families, including tennis courts basketball courts and soccer fields.
